Add images as Thumbnail on posts with Featured image option
In WordPress, adding images as a thumbnail is a very simple method.
In the WordPress language, the image used to present the whole content is called a featured image. Sometimes new users don't know about this feature available in WordPress Post Editor and leave it. Then the space will be at the top of the post or on the link popup or sometimes we will pick up an image to present the theme and it will not look professional so we have to display and make it attractive. Under the Post section on the sidebar, simply scroll down and find the featured image and then click Set Featured Image.
After clicking on the box a POP up will appear and then select an image from the Media Gallery or drag and drop from the computer. In this window you can easily edit an image, write a description of the title or edit the alt text for SEO purposes, edit the crop delete, etc. Simply adjust it using the settings then click Set Up Featured Image available at the bottom right of Pop Up.
